About

Pierangelo - Digital Marketing, Photo & Video, Boardgames

I’m Pierangelo, a digital marketing specialist based in Italy with a background that moves between communication, photography, video production, and creative projects.

I originally studied classical humanities, literature, and musicology — fields that shaped the way I approach storytelling, aesthetics, and visual communication. Alongside that, I’ve always been deeply interested in computers, videogames, and digital culture.

Over the years I specialized in content creation, photography, video editing, and digital marketing, working on B2B and B2C communication projects, social campaigns, product photography, trade fairs, and branded content. Today I work in marketing for an industrial company in Emilia-Romagna, focusing on digital communication, visual content, and multi-channel campaigns.

This website is not meant to be a traditional portfolio or agency page. It’s more of an evolving archive of things I create in my free time and along the way — photographs, videos, experiments, personal projects, and ideas.

What you’ll find here

Photography & Video

Photography started as a side interest and slowly became one of the main ways I express ideas visually. I enjoy both structured product photography and more spontaneous event coverage, especially when atmosphere and storytelling matter more than perfection.

Video followed naturally: editing, motion, pacing, music, and visual rhythm became another extension of the same creative process.

Most of the work published here comes from personal projects, collaborations, live events, and ongoing experiments.

Games & Creative Projects

Videogames have been a huge influence on me since childhood, not only as entertainment but as a form of design, narrative, and interaction.

In recent years I also developed a strong passion for board games — both playing and designing them. I enjoy studying mechanics, prototyping systems, and exploring how rules can create meaningful experiences and social interaction.

Some of those ideas and prototypes may appear here from time to time.

Beyond Work

Outside marketing and content production, I spend a lot of time listening to music, exploring visual culture, studying game design, and learning new creative tools.

Currently I’m also interested in web technologies, interactive experiences, and creative coding.
